We usually go to the location at Bolsa & Magnolia, but this one is just as good. Bánh Mì Chè Cali is our favorite place for chè. They have the best bánh lọt!

My friends in OC all say this is the shop to be for really good and cheap banh mi. So I decided to check one of the locations out when I was there one day! The location that I went to is located in between a T-Mobile store and a hair salon in the Garden Grove Shopping Plaza. There is a parking lot with ample stalls. The banh mi sandwiches were buy 2, get 1 free. So my total was only $12 for three banh mis! WHAT A STEAL. I got their Dac Biet Thit Cha (Ham & Meat Loaf), Thit Nuong (BBQ Pork), and Xiu Mai (Meat Balls). The banh mi were a really good size and had a ton of protein and vegetable fillings. They were quite good! Definitely loved their dac biet thit cha and would order it again next time. I left a sandwich in the fridge, and it was still sooo good. I'm thoroughly impressed! They have other foods as well as small premade snacks on the side. The prices are soooo cheap! I love that as it's a Vietnamese convenience shop with grab and go snacks and foods! Definitely will be back for more banh mi in the future especially for such amazing prices. Would love to try other things in the future as well! P.S. If you pay with a credit card with a total less than $20, you'll get charged an extra $1.

Affordable banh mi and to go options. This is a banh mi chain with che, bubble tea, and some Vietnamese classics. I tend to come to this location because they offer a variety of foods to go. They look freshly packed due to quick turn around times. It's always packed but the lines go by quick. Banh Mi's and che are buy 2 get 1 free. Their prices are the cheapest around town when you factor the free item. The bread is fresh, lots of meat and toppings. The che is delicious. Love their 3 color dessert which comes with more ingredients compared to other places. I've eaten some of their to go items and enjoyed the rice and chicken and Chao long. However, the fried items are too oily. The boba here is cheaper but way too sweet. It's a small little shop but they turn around a lot of food. There are 2-3 cashiers and 1-2 at the desert station taking orders and filling orders. They only speak Vietnamese but understand a little bit of English. They accept credit cards. This is just a togo shop with no where to sit and eat your food.

There're many to-go places in Bolsa but somehow, I always come back here. Corner of Brookhurst and Westminster. It comes out to $4 per Banh Mi and you can choose different fillings. I ALWAYS buy 2 and get 1 "Free". Sure-free. lol There are many other foods here as shown in these pictures. The interior does not look as clean as other places I go to but decent food. I mainly bought Banh Mi, keep the veggies separate ALWAYS. Then I warm up my Banh Mi in the air fryer or those electronic 2-plates grill when I get home - taste so hot and crunchy! The price here is very affordable and the familiar Vietnamese food tastes bring it home. Their fish-saunce fried wings used to be delicious and then they change it to thighs - I never order again. Fried thighs did not taste or smell the same quality as the fried wings. Eggrolls are ok - oily and crunchy. Thai tea is too sweet for me and after I saw how they had those white containers on the ground, I hesitate ordering. I never try any desserts - not much of a sweet person here. This place has been around for more than 20 years! There are plenty of parkings outside in the front. It is in a shopping plaza so it can get busy.
